The You Can Make It program is designed to teach everything about sewing progressively in seven levels. All aspects of sewing are taught in classes starting from basic, learn - to - sew sewing skills in Level 1 and progressing to tailoring in Level 7. You may join at any Level, depending on your present sewing experience. This program works on the theory that you must first learn the alphabet before you can learn to read. The same is true with sewing. You must first learn the basics.

My name is Cherice Taylor and I teach the latest, most comprehensive and detailed method of sewing using the “You Can Make It” sewing program

Not only will I teach you ALL sewing skills, Level 2 will start building your alteration skills as well. By the time you complete Level 7, you’ll be considered an expert seamstress.
Class highlights includes:
 Hands on program, where you will complete a garment in each Level- Individual attention with small class sizes
- Appropriate for adults and teens ages 18 and up
- Sewing machines and equipment are provided
- Saturday classes for 1 hour
- Weekday evening classes available upon request
- Don’t have time to commit to a weekly class—no problem—2 hour sessions are offered every other week

Level 5:

Learn all there is to know about pants. I will show you how to make them and how to fit them. Learn all about working with napped fabrics, lapped & invisible zippers, pockets, belt carriers, eyelets and SO MUCH MORE!

Level 6:
|
If you want professional looking garments and achieve a perfect fit. This is the one for you! I will show you how to do buttonholes, collars, sleeves, plackets, button cuffs, special closures and SO MUCH MORE!

Level 7:
|
Do you think tailoring skills are difficult? I’ll change your mind with Level 7! I’ll show you how to do welt pockets, bound buttonholes, linings and SO MUCH MORE!
